Tour info:

Super Jeep tour to Landmannalaugar, Iceland. Here the journey competes in beauty with the destination, for the landscape along the way is truly of this earth . Taking us through Thjorsardalur we will see the excavated farm Stong believed to have gone under ash from mt. Hekla in the 1104 eruption.  There after we will go up the foothold of mt. Hekla into the valley of doom (Dómadalur) where the landscape is dominated by ash and tundra, with colors of green moss and black ash covered mountains.  Landmannalaugar can easily be called the pearl of Iceland´s highlands. With its endless display of colors Geo thermal activity and hot pools it is a must see.
