This tour takes you caving for 1-2 hours with only a 20 minutes drive out of Reykjavik. Hidden under the Storbolla lava field, which originates in an eruption over 2000 years ago, lies a beautiful lava cave called Leidarendi. It offers a rare variety of lava formations, wide and narrow hallways and thus being the perfect sample of a lava cave. The name Leidarendi refers to a skeleton found half way into the cave, meaning end of journey cave. This mystery will only add to the mysterious nature of this spectacular journey to the center of the earth!
